Week 40 - countdown

Today I have another OB apppointment. The only purpose of this appointment is to see whether I can be induced without inserting a Foley bulb in my cervix it to expand it. The babies will be born this week one way or the other. I really wanted labor to start naturally, but it doesn't look like that will happen, and I am ready for some outside babies. I developed PUPP over the past couple of days. My belly looks and feels like I got poison ivy and then sunburned it. I am sleeping wrapped in a wet towel. It kind of sucks.

    Good-luck! I had PUPPS too...I don't know if the wet towels are helping, but I'd find after they turned body temperature that they made my itching MUCH worse. I found better relief with ice packs and Sarna lotion. Good news, mine seemed to be almost completely gone day of delivery.
