The boys have always loved being read to, but their biggest developmental milestone in the past month is that they are both "reading" to themselves. Owen has started bringing me books all day and then climbing in my lap to be read to and Hamilton, cutely, has started reading to Owen and Maya. Here Hamilton is enjoying his favorite book: My First Bible. Owen is pointing to his favorite baby bear in You are All my Favorites, the first baby bear, of course.
I am really hoping that next month I will not be reporting that they have dropped a nap...really, really, hoping...
