We went in today for a growth check. Both babies have good strong heartbeats and were very active. I discovered that all four feet are currently located in the same place, which explains all of the pressure that I am feeling near my belly button. They are having a kicking contest. Baby A (top) now weighs 1lb 11 oz and Baby B (bottom) "the bruiser" now weighs 1lb 14 oz.
My question after today is: if there are 31/2 lbs of baby why have I gained over 20?
We got much better pictures of Baby B than Baby A because Baby B is in the penthouse and much better positioned to pose. Baby A is a little squished and stuck behind an anterior placenta. It was so good to see them. We also have a picture of Baby B pushing Baby A's elbow out of his/her face. I hope neither one of them is born with a black eye.
