View From the Bully Pulipt

I work in the central business district of a city where there is a considerable vacancy rate in the ground floor retail space. In fact, in the block facing my building half of the store fronts are empty. A creative individual decided to decorate these empty windows by having local middle school children paint poster to adorn them.

These posters had a theme. Each poster started with the phrase, "It is not okay-" Then each student could personalize their poster. With one exception each student tackled a social issue. It is not okay to discriminate. It is not okay to hate. It is not okay to judge. It is not okay to put others down. However, there was one standout. Her poster read:

It is not okay to hit on people's boyfriends.
