My husband has seven sisters and one brother. All of his sisters are married, as is his brother, who has all boys. Until Maeve was born, it appeared that there would be no girls in this generation who carried his name.
In the photo above, Maeve is being held by her youngest aunt on my husband's side. Until this past September this aunt was the last girl born with the name. Little Miss Maeve has big shoes to fill. Nobody doubts that she is up to the task.
